Welcome to Vetpocket (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or using Vetpocket, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

Vetpocket is designed for veterinary students and professionals. By using our Services, you represent that you:

• Are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country).

• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

• Will use our Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering.

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You may sign up with an email/password, or through third-party login providers (such as Facebook or Apple).

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Access to certain Vetpocket features requires a paid subscription.

• Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Vetpocket does not process or store your payment information.

• Subscription fees, billing cycles, refunds, and cancellation policies are subject to the terms of the App Store or Google Play. Please refer to their policies for details.

• By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable store to charge you in accordance with its terms.

4. License to Use

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, educational, or professional veterinary purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code.

  • Use the Services in any unlawful or harmful manner.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Vetpocket (including text, graphics, design, and software) are owned by Vetpocket or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

6. User Content

If you submit, upload, or share any content (such as feedback, suggestions, or other materials), you grant Vetpocket a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that content into our Services.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, and how you can request data deletion.

8. Termination

You may stop using our Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or harmful behavior, or used our Services unlawfully.

You can delete your account and data at any time by:

• Submitting a request via our Help Center, or

• Deleting your account directly in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).

9. Disclaimers

• Vetpocket is intended as a reference and educational tool only.

• It is not a substitute for professional veterinary judgment. Always verify clinical decisions with current standards and guidelines.

• We make no warranties or guarantees that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vetpocket and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription during the twelve months prior to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Vetpocket harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Services or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in California.
